Music Ministry

St. Barbara Music Ministry

Mission Goals:
We are committed to creating a musical environment that enhances and complements our liturgical celebrations and encourages each member of our parish to engage more deeply in prayer and worship. Our mission is to flourish in the following ways:

  1. Spiritual Growth: Enhance the spiritual life of the parish by integrating music deeply into worship and prayer services. Aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the liturgy through music1.
  2. Community Engagement: Strengthen community ties by organizing music-related events, such as concerts and choir exchanges with other parishes. Encourage participation from all age groups to build a more inclusive music ministry2.
  3. Musical Excellence: Develop the musical skills of the ministry members through regular workshops and training sessions. Strive to improve the quality of music performed during services, reflecting the beauty and solemnity of the Mass3.

These goals align with the broader mission of serving God and the community through the power of music, creating an environment where faith can flourish in harmony with song.
