2L & Pringle Toss

Items Needed:

  • 2 Liter bottles of sodas - different flavors and colors (donated from parishioner)
  • Rings to toss and sticks to hold rings (rented from Ace)
  • Pringles Board and rings (rent from Ace)
  • Pringle Cans (donated by parishioners)
  • Bucket of Candy for consolation prizes

How to Play: 

  1. 2L Ring Toss: Set up large grouping of sodas - 2 dozen or so - in the middle of the carnival booth. Players are given three rings to try their hand "ringing" one of the sodas. If they ring a soda, they get to keep that two liter bottle soda as their carnival prize. If they do not ring a 2 liter, they are given a piece of candy.
  2. Pringle Toss: Players are given three wooden rings and tosses them until ringing one of the potato chip cans. If they ring a potato chip can, they get to keep that can as their carnival prize. If they do not ring a can, they are given a piece of candy.


Booth Setup/Take Down:

  • Pick up the money pouch from the money room. There will be a bag for each game. This is used to collect the tickets to play the game. Tickets will be collected by members of the finance team throughout the evening. Please place the ticket in the right game bag. This is important because it tracks exactly how many patrons play this specific game.
  • At beginning of Roctoberfest, 2 liter soft drinks, Pringles cans, rings for the 2 liters and can, Sterling Bucks, and a bucket of consolation candy are taken to the booth. Only the Sterling Bucks, rings and candy need to be brought back into the warehouse at the end of the evening.

Dino Dig

Items Needed:

  • Dino table
  • Dinos painted and blank on bottom
  • Candy bean bags
  • Sterling bucks
  • Consolation candy bucket


How to Play: 

  1. Players dig for dinosaurs, if they find one with paint on the bottom of the dinosaur they win a Sterling Buck; if it is plain they receive a piece of candy.
  2. (Optional) Dinos will be in eggs. One player chooses an egg; if Dino paw is painted, they win a sterling buck. If paw not painted, player wins a piece of candy.

  • Pick up the money pouch from the money room. There will be a bag for each game. This is used to collect the tickets to play the game. Items Needed:

  • Gumball Drop game board

How to Play: 

  1. Player tries to maneuver ball up face of game board to get ball into top hole to win.

Lucky Duck

Items Needed:

  • Duck Pond
  • Ducks painted on bottom
  • Ducks blank on bottom
  • Nets
  • Sterling Bucks
  • Consolation Candy Bucket


How to Play: 

  1. Players go fishing for a duck – it they net one painted on the bottom they win a Sterling Buck, if the net a plain duck they receive a piece of candy.

Tickets will be collected by members of the finance team throughout the evening. Please place the ticket in the right game bag.   • At beginning of Roctoberfest, the duck pond, water pump, ducks, nets, Sterling Bucks, and Bucket of Candy are taken to the booth. The ducks, nets, Sterling Bucks and candy should all be brought into the warehouse at the end of the evening.

Mini Sports Challenge (NEW GAME)

Items Needed:

  • Sports Challenge game items - see Booth Captain for details
  • Netting if required
  • Dry Erase board/markers
  • 2 Chairs


How to Play:

  • Player gets 2 tries for each of 4 sports challengers. For a total of 8 tries.
  • There is basketball, football, soccer and baseball.
  • If the player makes it in 1 of each challenge, they win a prize.


Booth Setup/Take Down:

  • The challenge will be set up prior to start of festival.
  • "Equipment" to be stored in warehouse each night
  • Price: 1 Ticket

PUMP IT

Items Needed:

  • Game Track
  • Sterling bucks
  • Consolation candy bucket


How to Play: 

  • Two player compete by racing boats using an old fashioned water pump
  • The first boat to cross the finish line is the winner of 1 sterling buck. The consolation prize is a piece candy.

Rockeration

Items Needed:

  • Rockeration game
  • Rockeration game pieces
  • Playing cards
  • Consolation Candy Bucket


How to Play: 

  1. Player player chooses a card then tries to remove the coordinating game piece without sounding the buzzer.
  2. If they successfully remove it, they win a Sterling Buck. If the buzzer sounds they get a piece of candy.

Ticket Sales and Prize Redemption

Items Needed:

  • Game Tickets
  • Prizes for children’s games. Note: Prizes should be categorized by number of Sterling Bucks it takes to win that prize
  • Air Compressor
  • Sterling Bucks

Ticket Sales/Redemption: 

  1. Purchase tickets to play any of the kids games - each game is 1 ticket. Tickets are $.50 each
  2. Players redeem earned Sterling Bucks for prizes. Prizes are categorized by the number of Sterling Bucks it will take to win a prize from a specific group.

  • Pick up the money pouch from the money room. There will be a bag for each game. This is used to collect the tickets to play the game. WHACK-A-MOLE

Items Needed:

  • Whack-a-mole inflatable game - rented (Dimensions 4.5’ x 9’ x 6.5’)
  • Whack-a-mole electronic score board
  • 2 6' Tables
  • 2 Chairs
  • 1 outlet to power fan for inflatable game (110v 20amp)
  • Addtional lighting will be needed to light area 


How to Play: 

  1. 2 players. Each person tries to whack as many moles as possible before the time runs out.
  2. When time is up, the colors will flash to reveal the winner. The winner receives a prize


Booth Setup/Take Down:

  • Inflate game and deflate at end of night.
  • Bring in Electronic score board and make sure its recharged
  • Price: $1 - per game per person.
