Welcome offers an escape from daily responsibilities and the chance to grow in your faith. You’ll learn from others who have found strength through their trust in God and the power of prayer.

St Barbara Sterling Event Center

8 AM Saturday - 2 PM Sunday

Doors open at 8:00 AM. Please arrive no later than 8:15 AM.
Program concludes by 2:00 PM on Sunday.

Overnight stay on Saturday encouraged to maintain focus without outside distractions.

• What can to expect on a Welcome Weekend Retreat: Individuals sharing their faith journey, Scripture reading with group discussion, Reconciliation, Mass, and more!
  
• Who conducts the Retreat: The Welcome team is comprised of parishioners who have attended previous Welcome retreats.
• Who may attend: Any interested individual over the age of 18 is invited.
• Wear: casual comfortable clothing and shoes.
  
• Food and Drinks: Meals and snacks are provided. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday. Dinner is provided on Saturday night. There is a good variety of food and beverages to accommodate most diets. Please let us know of any special diets/allergies on the registration form.
• What to bring: If you have a preferred Bible or rosary, please bring it with you. Bibles and rosaries will be provided upon request. 
• Sleeping accommodations In the Sterling Event Center. Air mattresses are provided.
  Please bring a pillow, blankets or sleeping bags and any toiletries required.
• Mass: Participants will attend at 4:30 on Saturday.
• Parking:  Please park vehicles on the far side of the event center.
• Cost: Free! This weekend is a gift from St. Barbara Church.
